✈️ Microlight Grey Team: Cleaning Day! | Aerospace Discovery Programme

     After our exciting first meeting last month, the Microlight Grey Team returned to the hangar this afternoon for our next big step,  cleaning the microlight frame! From 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM , we rolled up our sleeves, grabbed some cleaning supplies and got to work giving our future project aircraft a well deserved refresh.      When we first saw the microlight during our first session, it was covered in dust and rust, showing years of wear and exposure. Today’s goal wasn’t about building or fixing yet, it was all about preparing the aircraft for future work by cleaning off dirt, grease and rust so we could get a clearer look at its structure.      We started by brushing off loose dust and debris before wiping down the metal frame and seat areas. ✈️ Aerospace Discovery Programme: First Meeting — Microlight Grey Team

     The Aerospace Discovery Programme officially began for the Microlight Grey Team on 27 October 2025 with our very first meeting at 10:45 AM. The team, consisting of Jason, Ain and Amsyar, met with our supervisor, Mr. Zihad to take a first look at the microlight aircraft that we’ll be working on throughout the programme. The session only lasted 15 minutes, but it marked the exciting start of our project and gave us a clear sense of what lies ahead. During this initial meeting, we didn’t start any repair work yet.
